Dr. Carroll is passionate about treating all athletes, regardless of sport, and specializes in baseball, running, and strength sports. He is skilled at analyzing pitching, throwing, running, olympic lifting, and powerlifting mechanics through 2-D video analysis to improve performance, efficiency, and reduce risk of injury.
Dr. Tyler Carroll is from Clemmons, North Carolina. He grew up playing baseball, running cross country, and track. He continued playing baseball collegiately, first at Rockingham Community College and then at Bryan College, where he also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. After college, he found an interest in strength sports where he competed in both olympic weightlifting and powerlifting.
Tyler attended Elon University to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has previous experience as a strength and conditioning coach, personal trainer, and USA weightlifting coach, which provides him a unique insight into the athlete’s training plan to bridge the gap between rehab and performance. He utilizes these skills to construct an evidence based, individualized plan for each athlete to safely return to their sport and continue to excel.

“Outstanding physical therapy and other services to keep you healthy and moving in whatever sport or activity you do. Brandon, Lee, and Erin are the best. Very accommodating hours, some nights and early mornings. Excellent and very clean facility in an easy location. Certified in dry needling and highly effective in using this. Recently added a truly incredible 3D running gait analysis system (with a highly trained physical therapist who specializes in this, Lee) so runners can finally get to the root of their problems by seeing computer generated images at every ankle and with extreme detail. I have been a runner for 30+ years and have always run high mileage. In spite of very few injuries, I plan to have the 3D analysis to help me run faster and to minimize injuries going forward.”
