Catherine is passionate about creating environments that are efficient, supportive, and centered on providing the best possible experience for both staff and patients.

Catherine is a North Carolina native who grew up in Fayetteville and earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Meredith College, where she also served as a teaching assistant and fitness instructor. Her passion for healthcare developed early in 2012 while gaining hands-on experience in her fathers private practice, Herring Plastic Surgery, where she took on clerical responsibilities and learned the importance of patient focused care.

Catherine joined The Running PTs and BYoung Physical Therapy in 2020, quickly distinguishing herself through her leadership and dedication. She became Office Manager in 2022 and now serves as Director of HR and Operations. In this role, Catherine oversees the core functions that drive organizational efficiency, including HR, compliance, and operational systems. She leads strategic initiatives, fosters a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and continually optimizes operations to support sustainable growth and excellence. Catherine is passionate about creating environments that are efficient, supportive, and centered on providing the best possible experience for both staff and patients

Outside of work, she stays active through tennis and running and enjoys spending time at the beach.
