Why Choose the Running PTs?
Our mission is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that gets you back to doing what you love, whether that’s running, training, or simply moving pain-free. At our physical therapy clinic in Wake Forest, each patient works one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, ensuring personalized attention and continuity of care. We specialize in lower extremity injuries and running biomechanics, offering services that are both insurance-friendly and accessible without a referral.
Our Services
Our physical therapy clinic in Wake Forest offers the same comprehensive services that have made us a go-to physical therapy clinic across the Triangle:
From ankle sprains to post-operative knee recovery, we provide skilled treatment for hip, knee, foot, and ankle injuries. Our therapists focus on identifying the root cause of your pain and developing a tailored plan to restore function and prevent recurrence.
We offer advanced 2D and 3D running gait analysis to assess your biomechanics. This service helps identify inefficiencies or imbalances that may lead to injuries or hinder performance. Our gait analysis is beneficial for injury prevention, running economy, and speed training.
Our therapists are certified in dry needling, a technique that can resolve pain and muscle tension, aiding in faster recovery from injuries. We also provide manual therapy, including deep tissue massage, trigger point release, and soft tissue mobilization, to address various musculoskeletal issues.
Our recovery sessions include a combination of treatments such as cupping, vibration therapy, and Normatec compression boots, all administered by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. These sessions are designed to enhance recovery, reduce muscle soreness, and improve overall performance.

Our certified run coaches offer individualized training programs based on your goals, running history, and fitness level. Programs include targeted pace ranges, strength training routines, and regular communication to adjust training plans as needed.
