Our physical therapists Melissa West and Alyssa Shupe are both certified run coaches through the Road Runners Club of America. They have combined race experience ranging from 800 meters through 50 kilometers, and they are super excited to use their experiences as runners and physical therapists to help you chase your goals – no matter the distance.

We offer a basic and an advanced coaching plan. Both plans will allow you to receive individualized coaching, written by your PT/coach, delivered via the V.O2 training app. While both plans will be adapted to your needs based on evolving fitness/goals, the advanced plan will offer more personalized communication via weekly meetings with your coach.

Base plan ($75/mo)

  • Includes an initial 30-minute appointment to assess your running background & training goals
  • Individualized run programming written by your coach and delivered via the V.O2 training app

Advanced plan ($175/mo)

  • Everything from the base plan PLUS a weekly 30-minute phone call or in-person appointment to help us more specifically adjust your training plan as you go. This time can be used to discuss any specific training questions such as nutrition or strength training.

We do not require that you commit to a certain number of months working with us, but we do generally recommend starting with 3+ months. Training takes time and consistency, and this timeframe will generally allow you to complete a training cycle geared towards your race of choice!

Our coaching program includes:

  • An individualized training program based on your goals, history with running, and your fitness. This includes program modifications as needed throughout the program.
  • Target pace ranges for runs, workouts, and races based on your fitness and race goals.
  • Regular communication with your coach via email, text, and phone call.
  • An individualized run schedule will be sent to you weekly or every other week, with adjustments made during the week as needed
  • Access to strength training videos and exercise routines to help optimize training
  • Generous discounts on other clinic services, including: in-person strength training, rapid recovery sessions, and gait analyses.
